Overview

The Blossom Effect Micro Grant is a monthly $500 grant awarded to one LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC-led plant-based business. Our mission is to invest in visionary plantpreneurs whose work is rooted in growth, purpose, and community impact. Each application cycle is considered independently, and applicants are welcome to reapply monthly for consideration.

 

By applying for the grant, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

Eligibility

    1.    Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

    2.    Applicants must identify as LGBTQ+ and/or BIPOC.

    3.    The business must be plant-based, with offerings that incorporate plants into products, services, education, or community-building.

    4.    The grant is open to individuals in the United States only.

    5.    Both for-profit and non-profit ventures are eligible.

 

Application & Selection Process

    1.    Applications must be submitted via the official form provided by The Blossom Effect during the current cycle.

    2.    Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

    3.    One recipient will be selected each month based on creativity, impact, alignment with values, and potential for growth.

    4.    Previous recipients may not reapply.

    5.    Decisions are made by an internal review panel and are final. Feedback will not be provided.​

 

Grant Disbursement

    1.    The selected recipient will receive a one-time grant of $500, disbursed via electronic payment within 14 business days of selection.

    2.    Funds are intended to be used for business-related growth and sustainability.

    3.    Recipients may be asked to provide a brief follow-up (e.g., a testimonial, update, or photo) to share how the funds were used.

Publicity & Promotion

    1.    By accepting the grant, recipients agree to allow The Blossom Effect to share their business name, likeness, and submitted materials (e.g., photos, business description) for promotional purposes across our platforms.

    2.    Any media or content shared may be used in marketing materials, social media posts, and press outreach.

 

Additional Terms

    1.    The Blossom Effect reserves the right to suspend or cancel the grant at any time.

    2.    The grant is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash equivalents.

    3.    By applying, applicants affirm the accuracy of the information provided and acknowledge that any misrepresentation may disqualify them.
